Did you know:

The inspiration for trick-or-treating dates back to the Middle-Age practice of the poor going do to door dressed up in costumes, playing songs and dancing in return for treats.

Did you know:

Black cats have a hard time during Halloween because they were once believed to be protected their master’s dark powers.

Did you know:

When European immigrants went to North America, they took with them Halloween! They would celebrate the harvest around a bonfire, share ghost stories, sing, dance and tell fortunes.

Did you know:

Halloween was originally a pagan holiday honouring the dead on the last day of the Celtic calendar, October 31st!

Originally a Scottish fortune telling game, girls would often use cabbage stumps in order to predict their future husbands on the night of Halloween.

Did you know:

Orange and black are Halloween colours because orange is associated with the Fall harvest and black is associated with darkness and death.
